10 mile Creek Paradise

rock hoping 10 mile creek

Another gorgeous day so after cleaning we headed to the 10 mile creek loaded with our picnic lunch, togs and towel.

Great way to cool down on such a stunning summers day.

Dogs love it down here and for us it is just nice to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of the busy summer season – even if it is only for an hour or two.

That’s the great thing about the 10 mile valley – it is only one mile from home yet feels like a million miles away.

Time to head back but we’re feeling refreshed and relaxed,  ready for our new guest arrivals.

With our 40 + temps at the mo… even measured a 43 C… I would lov e to go and cavort around in that cool looking stream…

oooh yes that is a tad too warm Bulldog! Been lovely here but not that hot. Still nice to hang out by the creek – I wasn’t brave enough for a swim but the boys (all three) loved it.

What a lovely spot! It’s funny to see you dressed in summer attire as I always seem to think of NZ as cold but you do have your warm weather too! You look like you are dressed for Queensland weather.

ha-ha yes Jane we do get lovely weather here too – not the extremes that you get in Queensland but definitely hot enough for shorts and singlets and some sunbathing. 🙂
