The Gypsy Extravaganza was visiting Greymouth for the weekend so once our cleaning was done we headed on into town to check it out.
Perfect weather for wandering around and enjoying the festivities.
Wonderful to see so many locals and children enjoying the day. Lots of smiles on faces.
The face painting proved very popular with a line of eager children whenever we passed.
End result well worth it – they look fantastic.
The kids were enjoying the merry-go-round and the candy-floss was definitely a hit – for young and old (er).
Young Summer did an amazing job with the hula hoops – very talented at moving these things around in time to the music. I use to think I was good at the hula hoops when younger but don’t think I quite managed the art of them like she has.
Beautiful day and nice to be out experiencing the colour and joy of the Gypsy Extravaganza. Thanks everyone involved and make sure you go and visit them if they come to a town near you.
Jan and Stephen run Breakers Boutique Accommodation on the Great Coast Road north of Greymouth. They enjoy getting out and about and supporting events that make the effort to come to the West Coast.
